CHRIS HALEY - drums

MUSICAL EXPERIENCE: 25+ years playing drums. Studied music at The Schuylerville Central High School for one day...but I learned a lifetimes worth of knowledge. Performed with Axiom, Bangz, Maxx Thrust, Brother Revolution, Bloodstone, Cryin Out Loud

MIKE DIETLEIN - lead trumpet

NICKNAME: "Mikey-D"

INSTRUMENTS: trumpet

MUSICAL EXPERIENCE: Mike has been playing trumpet semi-professionally in New York's Capital District for the last 5 years, and at the age of 23, is quickly becoming one of the youngest, most active trumpet players in the area. Michael's playing has taken him all over New York State, Vermont, Massachusetts, New York City, and New Jersey. He has also toured Europe with the American Music Abroad Wind and Jazz Ensembles, played Lead Trumpet with various performing groups at Schenectady County Community College, Lead Trumpet with the College of St. Rose Jazz Ensemble, Principal Cornet of the College of St. Rose Wind Ensemble, Lead Trumpet with the Mohawk Brass, and Principal Trumpet of the University at Albany Symphony Orchestra. He has also played with the Blue Mile Brass Quintet, Vehicle, The New York Players Entertainment Group, the Capital Region Wind Ensemble, and has played and recorded with The Joey Thomas Big Band and the Empire Jazz Orchestra, including performances with jazz greats Wycliffe Gordon and Rufus Reid. Currently, in addition to actively freelancing, he now plays Lead Trumpet with The Refrigerators.

MUSICAL INFLUENCES: Chicago, Blood Sweat and Tears, Tower of Power, Earth Wind and Fire, Wynton Marsalis, Randy Brecker, Byron Stripling, Wayne Bergeron, etc. Anything with horns from Mozart and Vivaldi to, well, anything with horns! I pretty much look up to anyone who's better than me.... that's a lot of people!

JOHN J. COSTELLO - keyboards

MUSICAL EXPERIENCE: John has over 12 years experience playing professionally in New York's Capital Region and other areas including Kingston, Saugerties, Bennington VT, and Hartford CT. He performed with several local bands, and more recently the alternative-rock band Social Lube. John studied music at Schenectady County Community College and later earned a degree in science (Information Systems) at Empire State College.

MUSICAL EXPERIENCE: Jim has attended Berkely College of Music, toured Europe twice with various national acts, and has played numerous clubs up and down the East and West coast. He has been a local area musician for over 25 years. Jim plays just about every instrument there is. Played with Larry Lewis and Solid Smoke, GMP, Atlantic recording artist Kleeer, and The REFRIGERATORS.

STEPHEN CHRISTMAN - saxophone

NICKNAME: "Rocco"

INSTRUMENTS: Alto Tenor Soprano sax and flute

MUSICAL EXPERIENCE: Stephen began playing saxophone at age 10. Has since performed with local and national acts and studied with some of the best sax players in the area including the late Nick Original. Stephen has worked extensively as a music therapist helping mental health patients combat their illness at the Nathan Litauer Extended Care Facility.
