What:
The Refrigerators, in conjunction with GE, the Albany Medical Center Foundation, and WFLY 92.3, have announced a song-writing contest with $500 cash prizes to three top winners! Winning songs will be recorded by The Refrigerators and performed live.

Why:
A summer CD release party to benefit the Children’s Hospital at Albany Medical Center. This concert party will include performances from the The Refrigerators as well as other regional and national acts.

Who:
Everyone with original work (both lyrics and tunes). Songs previously recorded and released through national distribution in any country are not eligible.

How:
Register and Submit your entry online at this site. All entries must be received by April 8th, 2005. A celebrity panel will review all entries received by April 8th and choose three winners based on the quality of lyrics, music, and alignment with the band’s signature funk/pop style. Winners will be announced on or about April 13th, 2005.

Where & When:
The Music for Miracles Festival and CD release party will take place at Washingon Park in Albany on June 18, 2005. The event will begin at 1:00 pm.
